From the Walsall Observer on Saturday the 21st of September 1918
Private Horace Percy Musgrove, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Musgrove, 51, Eldon Street, is in the Cottage Hospital at Malmesbury, Wilts, and is progressing favourably in his recovery from gunshot wounds in the arm and left leg, received on August 12 while in action in France with the Royal Scots.
A single man, 23 years of age, he has been on active service six months, and before joining the Colours in October, 1916, he was employed by Messrs. C. Greatrex & Son, Lower Forster Street. A brother is serving in France.
