From the Wiltshire Times on Saturday the 14th of September 1901

Late on Tuesday evening a lad named Butter, of Sherston Magna, was taken to the Malmesbury Cottage Hospital on the ambulance. The lad, it appeared, was engaged in spragging the wheels of a tip wagon, when the stick flew up and caught him violently in the mouth, knocking some of his teeth through the roof of his mouth, and cutting up his tongue badly, as well as shaking him up considerably.
