A Cirencester correspondent reports that a serious accident happened to two young officers attached to the R.F.C. Something went wrong with the machine, and from an uncontrolled descent, the aeroplane struck the earth violently.

Help was rendered as quickly as possible, and one officer was conveyed to Malmesbury Hospital, and lies there suffering from a broken thigh and concussion of the brain, and though in a serious condition, there is hope he will survive.

The other was taken to Cirencester Hospital suffering from fracture of the skull, but, unfortunately, he passed away yesterday. His relatives reside at Belvedere, near Woolwich.
