Mrs. Haig Giffard, a cousin of Earl Haig, of White House, Dauntsey, was seriously injured in the hunting field whilst out with the Duke of Beaufort Hounds.
The meet was at Didmarton, and after a couple of hours out Mrs. Giffard was thrown from her horse.
Her injuries were a fractured collar bone and broken ribs, and she is now in Malmesbury Hospital.
