From the Devizes and Wilts Advertiser on Thursday the 31st of October 1901

A drover of Wootton Bassett, who had been sent by train to Somerford for a cow, on Wednesday morning, was asleep on passing Somerford station, and when he awoke found he was nearing Malmesbury. In attempting to get out to walk back, he was thrown to the ground. Fortunately he fell on some garden ground on the embankment. He sustained a cut on the head and both hands were lacerated, which injuries were attended to at the Cottage Hospital.

Malmesbury Cottage Hospital (1897 – 1925)

"The Whole Hog," a bar and restaurant in Malmesbury. Interestingly, this building has a historical significance, as it served as Malmesbury Cottage Hospital from late 1897 until the end of 1926. 37 Horsefair, which is located at the edge of Horsefair near the entrance to Foundry Road in Malmesbury.
